9 days to Tanzania

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi Comfort Inn

We arrive in Nairobi today and have the day to orientate ourselves we also make use of the time to clarify any unclear points and discuss the tour and what we can expect on a day to daily basis, this is also an opportunity to ensure that you have every thing you will require for the following 13 days of wildlife wonder and sandy shore. This evening we will have the opportunity of eating at the famous carnivore’s restaurant. Not recommended for vegetarian but catering for the less primal tastes.

Day 2: Meru National Park – Elsas Kopje

Leaving behind the frenetic energy of Nairobi in the late morning we take in the breath taking beauty of the Great Rift Valley from the air en route to Meru National Park. This scar on the surface which is a result of a major tectonic shift millions of years ago and to this day stands as a reminder of how insignificant human time frames are. Time at Elsa's Kopje include two game drives per day, all meals from the northern Italian-influenced kitchen, and all drinks including beer and spirits. B L D

Next to our accommodation we have the opportunity to visit a snake park and a Masai village to learn a little about their ancient culture. B D

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

One cannot help but here remnants of David Attenboroughs’ voice “this vast expanse of lush veld comes alive with the annual migration…” The next two day we will experience the Serengeti in our customized 4x4 with pop up roofs for easy viewing and photography, this park covers 15,000 sq km of plains and a myriad of grazing animals. We overnight in the park, an exhilirating experience, especially if we are visited by some larger predators while we lay in bed. B L D
