20 Days East African Honeymoon Safari

Safari includes Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Parks (Uganda) Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro - attractions and activities include the famous mountain gorilla and chimpanzees, wildlife viewing boat cruise, birding. The trip is ideal for those who want to discover and interact with the close cousins of man, the Gorillas and chimps!!! The safari also takes you through the world’s famous wildlife sanctuaries of northern Tanzania, and may be combined with "The Kenya Experience" creating a great safari to the major wildlife parks in all countries.

Day 1: You will warmly be welcomed by our professional guide at Entebbe airport. After a short transfer to your hotel the guide will be brief about you safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g if your flight arrives in the morning, you will go for a city tour. You can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide. Overnight at either Serena Hotel for luxury accommodation, Fang Fang Hotel for medium accommodation or Forest Cottages for budget accommodation.

Day 2: Early morning transfer to Fort Portal arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Relax at your hotel in the afternoon. In the evening, the guide will brief you on the activities that will take place on the following day program. Overnight at either Ndali Lodge for Luxury accommodation, Rwenzori View Guest House or Ataco Guest House for medium accommodation or Toro Resort for Budget Accommodation.

Day 3: Early morning go for chimpanzee tracking which will start from Kanyanchu River Camp. This will give you an opportunity to see primates including l’hoestes, red colobus, blue red tailed and gray cheeked mangabey. The guide who will give you detailed information on primates, forest, flora and fauna. After lunch, visit to Bigodi swamp which will give you an opportunity see other small mammals and birds. Overnight at either Ndali Lodge for Luxury accommodation, Rwenzori View Guest House or Ataco Guest House for medium accommodation or Toro Resort for Budget Accommodation.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. You will have an enroute game drive giving you an opportunity to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. After lunch, you will visit the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close look at the bats, rock python and forest cobras. The same walk will provide a chance of seeing birds, primates, tree species etc. Overnight at either Mweya or Jacana Safari Lodge for luxury accommodation, hippo hill camp for medium accommodation or Mweya Hostel for budget accommodation.

Day 5: Have an early morning Game drive where you have an excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck with the help of the guide. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This boat cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Overnight at either Mweya or Jacana Safari Lodge for luxury accommodation, hippo hill camp for medium accommodation or Mweya Hostel for budget accommodation.

Day 6: Early morning proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Park. This drive will take you through the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Overnight at either Gorilla Forest Camp for luxury accommodation, L. Kitandara Tented Camp for medium accommodation or Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 7: Go for gorilla tracking walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t miss. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Enjoy the Buhoma Village Walk organized by the local community. Overnight at either Gorilla Forest Camp for luxury accommodation, L. Kitandara Tented Camp for medium accommodation or Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 8: After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for lunch. A game drive today will enable us to see the zebras, topis, elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes etc. Overnight at Mantana luxury tented camp for luxury accommodation or Rwonyo for budget accommodation.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch your evening flight to Kirimanjaro and a stopover en-route at the Equator for photographs dinner and overnight stay at

Day 10: Breakfast drive to the Amboseli Game Reserve, arriving at the Amboseli Serena Lodge facing the summit of Kilimanjaro. Late afternoon game viewing drive in the Amboseli Game Reserve. Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 11: Today we have an early morning game drive in Amboseli. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the morning relaxing by the swimming pool. Late in the afternoon we go for yet another game drive. Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 12: Depart early morning for L. Manyara with a stop over for lunch in Arusha. Continue to L. Manyara Serena Lodge, perched on the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley overlooking the lake and surrounding woodland areas. Overnight stay L. Manyara Serena Lodge. 

Day 13: Early Morning game drive in the National Park around the Great Rift Valley area. After lunch we transfer to the Ngorongoro crater which is surrounded by 200ft walls and the floor covering over 100sq Miles. Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 14: Early morning drive to the crater floor for a whole day f wildlife viewing. Watch out for the black mane lion, thousands of flamingos that migrate from other Great Rift Valley lakes. Elephant, buffalo and rhino are also found in greater concentrations here than anywhere else in Africa. Have your picnic breakfast provided by your lodge before ascending the crater wall to your lodge for a late lunch. Time allowing proceed for Late afternoon guided walk along the crater rim. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. 

Day 15: Today we transfer to Serengeti National park, where you will have an excellent opportunity to view big herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. Have a stop over at Olduvai Gorge to visit the museum where a collection of archeological artifacts discovered by Louis and Mary Leakey is displayed. Have a late evening game drive. Overnight stay at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 16: Proceed for a whole day game drive Serengeti National park. You may have the opportunity of viewing groups of lions resting in the trees. The annual migration is the greatest wildlife show on earth, with a lot of wildebeest and zebra trekking north to the Masai Mara while lion, cheetah and the rare hunting dog follow close behind. Overnight stay at Serengeti Serena Lodge.  

Day 17: After breakfast, we transfer to Masai Mara as you enjoy a game viewing en-route. Proceed to the Tanzania and Kenya border crossing point where you be met by our Kenyan guide at the border. Have your picnic lunch before continuing with your game drive to your safari lodge. Overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 18/19: Two full days of game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands, their numbers increasing during the annual migration from the Serengeti. Lion, leopard and cheetah are never far behind, while crocodile and hippo congregate in the Mara and Talek rivers. You will also enjoy our exclusive 'Dinner on the Masai Mara' with traditional Masai dancing. Overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 20: Today you have your our final early morning game drive and then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where you will take your late evening flight back home.
