Rwanda Tour 6 Days

 

Day 1

You will warmly be welcomed by our professional guide at the airport. After a short transfer to the hotel for lunch the guide will be brief about you safari. Then drive through the beautiful terraced hillsides to the base of the awesome volcanoes you can have an opportunity to see the five peaks. Overnight at the Lodge. (FB).

Day 2

Go gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t miss. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Depending on how far the gorillas are and the weather, you can either spend with them an hour or take a full day with them. Overnight at the Lodge (FB).

 

Day 3

After breakfast, you can either visit the golden monkeys or drive to Gisenyi and visit Ross Carr's orphanage and Lake Kivu or climb the Visoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's grave, or visit the local school, community projects or walk to Lake Bulera. Overnight at the Lodge (FB).

 

Day 4

After breakfast you can either relax at the lodge or take a walk, or visit the golden monkeys if not trek to Dian Fossey's grave. In the afternoon you will transfer to Uganda and if time allows, you will go for a walk near Mount Gahinga. Overnight at the Lodge (FB).

 

Day 5

You will either climb a volcano, or go for a nature walk, or visit the golden monkeys in Mgahinga. Overnight at the Lodge (FB).

 

Day 6

Leisurely drive back to Kigali. Incase you have time, you will go for a tour of the city including a visit to the market, a pottery project, handicraft shops, the Franco-Rwandan cultural centre and a genocide memorial. Transfer to the airport.
