Able Safaris Ltd is a locally owned tour and travel company with excellent experience which is in a class of its own. Our primary goal is to provide guests with experience opportunity of a personal relationship with nature. We have experience in providing memorable tailor-made safaris within the East Africa region based around each individual’s needs and budget. Our commitment is to provide top quality tours and safaris in exclusive settings where guests can honestly say: 'We had it all to ourselves!'

Despite the many years of safari experience, Able Safaris Ltd does not take Uganda for granted. Safaris into the most remote and unspoiled tracts are operated with the same precision, strict attention to detail, and concern for safety which have been our signature for the past years. Our Safaris are supported by the best tour vehicles, professional guides, excellent accommodation according to your wish and a caring, personal customer service which guarantees a unique and enriching experience.

The Managing Director is Kalimwine Lydia (Ms) and the Reservation Manager is Nalule Esther (Ms) both born and brought up in Uganda. Working as a team with all our staff and paying particular attention to detail, we pride ourselves in our personalized service and continuously endeavor and have great pleasure in ensuring most rewarding safaris to all our clients.

Our staff
Our experienced staff members are always available to meet, welcome and brief every client arriving in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. The briefing includes useful information about local culture, currency and general advice regarding their safari itinerary. The experienced staff go an extra mile to assists with any other additional requirements our clients may have or simply to give advice. We do encourage the free communication with the clients so a 24 hour emergency contact with all our clients is always available.

Flexibility
Our scope is currently limited to Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. This is no coincidence as we purpose to focus on what we know and what we do best. Our guiding principle is to work with each client, family and group in an individual way. We encourage you to work with us, discussing your interests, style of travel, budget, time frame and any other factors that would influence your safari/tour - to come up with an itinerary best suited to you, your family or group. Noting that some have said that travel to Africa is not inexpensive, our tours offer the best value for your money.

Accommodation
We selectively choose unique, competitively priced and elegant comfortable lodges, tented safari camps, and exclusive hotels within the East African Region. The Lodges, tented safari camps and hotels used provide excellent personalized services for a discerning traveler. We kindly ask all our clients to advise if they have any dietary requirements in advance.

Transport
For any safari to be successful there is need of a reliable and a comfortable 4x 4 Safari vehicles. Our safari vehicles have sliding windows, open roof hatches to optimize all round visibility for game viewing and photography taking. We normally use 4 wheel drive minibuses and Toyota Land cruisers which are comfortable, fully serviced, air conditioned, comprehensively insured, and good conditioned vehicles well maintained and in good condition to provide maximum level of comfort and safety. The vehicles are fully equipped with cool-boxes, binoculars, maps as well as guide books on wildlife, mobile phones for easy communication between the clients and the staff of Able Safaris Ltd, birds and plants of East Africa. Our safari vehicles are regularly serviced, organized, well maintained and checked before the safari and after the safari.

Safari guides
The most important person who will make the safari successful is the driver guide. His knowledge of the destinations will make your safari complete. At Able safaris we make sure that our guides give the clients the best services ever and even make the clients feel at home. Its there responsibility to make sure that you have a great and wonderful safari, pointing out animals and ensuring that you are well looked after. Our essence is that our service is the one that professionally moves people often with value added service in between. Our driver guides are our pride.

Our pride at Able Safaris Ltd is that we do have some of the best guides. And we know that guides are the most important instrument of the safari making it our philosophy of employing only the best guides in the field. By sharing their passion with the clients and giving information about different cultures, wildlife, and other important information, they inspire many clients to return again and again. Because at Able Safaris Ltd we believe that “once isn’t enough”.

Our guides are professionally accredited, well informed, well trained, friendly, receive constant training and experienced driver guides. They will be in position to provide you with the information about every thing that you want to know about Uganda. They don’t only provide the information but they also go an extra mile for the clients to make sure that they are comfortable.

At Able Safaris Ltd the driver guides as a must are above 23 years, have experience of driving/guiding of 3 years, have both customer and passenger care and above all are in possession of the driver’s license. This is done to make sure that our clients are in safe hands and nothing will happen to them. They are equipped with a good knowledge of the roads and will drive you safely on your safari with the knowledge of the animals within the area and he will be in position to spot animals for you.

Ever since our humble beginning, we do have only competent and qualified staff, we are able to respond to all our client's inquiries, questions and Reservations within 24 hours this coupled with the fact that we offer personalized safaris which ensures unforgettable experiences.

Future plans
We are looking forward to establishing different Able Safaris branches in South Africa, Egypt; Botswana etc giving us a chance access all aspects.

Departures
To make it is easy and convenient for the traveler; all our safaris depart daily with a minimum of 2 persons booking. We do this to allow our itineraries/safaris fit into your schedule, and prices are thus based on two persons and will go down with 3 and more participants. Please provide us with this information during your first enquiry to help us send you a most appropriate quotation.

Briefs
Depending on the time the safari is beginning, our staff or guide will take time to meet you preferably at our office (whenever possible) to introduce your driver/guide and take you through the safari program explaining what to expect while on the safari, provide background information and materials, discuss the dos and don'ts as well as answer any last minute questions that you may have. And after your safari, the consultants will meet you to get your response about the tour.
